Healthy eating – the key to physical and mental well-being
A healthy diet is fundamental to sustaining peak fitness – and sadly, all too often overlooked. Do you understand the main principles of good nutrition? Are you eating enough of the right kinds of foods? Do you want to lose weight and lose the cravings too? Increased energy; a sense of well-being; improved immune system; greater mental clarity…these are just a few of the myriad benefits of following the right diet. Why compromise the benefits of your fitness programme with an unhealthy diet?

Expert nutritional advice – helping you stay in shape
As part of my personal training programmes, I will work with you to provide nutritional advice that best compliments your goals, training schedule and lifestyle. Not only am I an experienced personal fitness trainer, but a qualified nutrition advisor too. I will help you to adopt an enjoyable, fulfilling way of eating that will help bring you surprising results – perfectly suited to the exercise programme that I will design for you.

Let me help you lose weight and tone up!
The right diet and supplements can help you maximise the gains from your personal training and I’ll help you all the way. As your personal trainer, not only do I meet with you several times a week to help you through demanding physical exercise programmes – I’ll take time to understand your weight goals, lifestyle, health and diet. As a nutrition advisor, I may even suggest you keep a diary for a week to give me a valuable insight into your typical diet. We’ll talk about your lifestyle, analyse what you are eating and at what times. Only when I have a clear picture of your diet, can I help guide you on the path to healthy eating!

You are what you eat
Maintaining a good diet is half the battle won if you are concerned with weight loss and increased energy. Most minor ailments are fixed by good nutrition and, arguably, more serious illnesses could be prevented by changing your diet. Everything you put in your mouth or breathe in goes towards building your body and running your body and mind. Fill up on a diet comprising predominantly of processed, fatty and convenience foods and over time you will end up with a body that reflects that. Eat healthy, fresh, natural food with a sensible alcohol intake, and you will end up with a far more pleasing, healthy body that you and others will love.

My four point guideline to dietary well-being
1. I may ask you to maintain a food diary over an agreed period of time to gain a snapshot of your current diet.
2. This diary is then analysed and discussed in a Nutritional Consultation.
3. I will then provide simple guidelines to suit you and your lifestyle.
4. I’ll help you monitor this throughout the course of your personal training programme and offer revisions where required.
